RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Only registered participants are eligible to take part in competitions.
2. Each participant will be assigned a badge number.
3. Participants must report at least 15 minutes before their scheduled performance time.
4. A minimum of three contestants is required for a competition to be held.
5. Each participant may register for up to five individual events.
6. Group event participation will not be counted toward the individual event limit.
7. Winners will receive a trophy; participation trophies will also be considered.
8. The highest-scoring individual across all categories will receive the Bay Area Idol Award.
9. Soundtracks for dance performances must be submitted by the announced
   deadline. No event-day submissions or updates will be accepted.
10. The use of glitter or hazardous materials is strictly prohibited in dance and all other performances like fancy dress.
11. Judges’ decisions will be final for all events.
